Frequently asked questions
Does the security system work without internet?
Yes. All basic functions — video recording, sensor triggers, valve control — work locally without internet. Internet is only needed for push notifications and remote camera viewing.
How many cameras does an apartment need?
A standard apartment needs 2–4 cameras: one at the front door (video intercom or IP camera), one or two in common areas (hallway, living room) and one outside if there is a balcony or terrace. We propose the layout after surveying the property.
How long is camera footage stored?
It depends on storage capacity. On a 2 TB hard drive with 4 cameras in motion recording mode, footage is stored for 14–30 days. Storage can be expanded or cloud recording configured if needed.
How does automatic water shut-off work on a leak?
Leak sensors are installed under sinks, by washing and dishwashing machines, and in bathrooms. When triggered, the controller automatically closes the solenoid valve on the water supply inlet and sends a phone notification.
Can the system be connected to a security company?
Yes. The system supports integration with a central monitoring station (CMS) via GSM module or IP channel. When an alarm is triggered, the signal is automatically sent to the security company.
